Mega Smash Truck!
In short: Mega Smash Truck! collects nothing. It has no ads, no accounts and no in-app purchases, and it never connects to the internet. Your child's game progress stays on your device.
About this policy
This privacy policy applies to the game Mega Smash Truck! (Arabic name: الشاحنة الخارقة!), app ID com.salehalzahrani.megasmash, for Android phones, Android tablets, Android TV and Google TV. The game is made and published by Saleh Alzahrani, an independent developer, called "I" or "me" below.
Information the app collects
None. The app does not collect any personal information, does not store any personal information on a server, and does not share any personal information with anyone. This includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, voice recordings, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising IDs and information about how the game is played.
No internet connection
The app does not request Android's internet permission and makes no network connections. It works completely offline, so nothing is ever sent from the app to me or to anyone else.
No ads, analytics, accounts or purchases
The app has:
- no advertising;
- no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools;
- no third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data;
- no sign-in and no accounts;
- no in-app purchases. The coins spent in the game's Garage are earned only by playing and cannot be bought with real money.
Device permissions
The app does not access the device's location, camera, microphone or contacts. Presses on the TV remote, gamepad or touch screen are used only to play the game as it happens; they are not recorded or saved.
What is saved on the device
So that your child can carry on where they left off, the app saves:
- game progress, such as finished levels, coins, dinosaur eggs and baby dinos;
- settings, such as the language, music, sound effects, voices and 2-player mode;
- Garage choices, such as the truck's paint, stickers, wheels and horn.
This is saved only on the device, in the app's own private storage. It contains no personal information, and it is never sent to me.
Android backup
Android has its own system backup, called Auto Backup. If the device owner has turned on backup in their Google account settings, Android may include the game's saved data in the device's backup and restore it if the game is installed again. These backups are made, stored and managed by Google, not by me, and Google handles them under the Google Privacy Policy. I cannot see or access them. You can turn backup off or manage your backups in your device's settings or your Google account.
Deleting the data
Uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from the device. You can also erase the data without uninstalling by clearing the app's storage in Android's settings (for example Settings → Apps → Mega Smash Truck! → Storage → Clear storage; the exact steps differ between devices). Any copy in an Android backup is managed in your Google account, as described above.
Children
Mega Smash Truck! is made for children, especially those aged about 4 to 9. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. The app complies with Google Play's Families Policy.
Parents' rights and questions
Because I collect and hold no information about you or your child, there is nothing for me to access, correct, delete or hand over. If you have any questions about this policy or about your child's privacy, please email me at megasmash@salehalzahrani.com.
